By accessing or using Kairos ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Kairos is an AI-powered personal growth and coaching platform. The Service provides journaling, goal tracking, AI coaching conversations, analytics, and related features to support your personal and professional development.

3. AI Coaching Disclaimer

The AI coaching features provided by Kairos are for informational and personal growth purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice, including but not limited to:

Medical, psychological, or mental health advice
Financial, legal, or investment advice
Licensed therapy or counseling
Career coaching by a certified professional

Results are not guaranteed. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call your local emergency services.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to update your information to keep it current.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on Kairos, including journal entries, goals, and coaching conversations. By using the Service, you grant Kairos a limited license to process your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Use automated means to access the Service without permission
Impersonate another person or entity

7. Subscription & Payments

Some features of Kairos require a paid subscription. Payment terms, refund policies, and cancellation procedures are governed by our payment processor. You can manage your subscription from your account settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kairos is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kairos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Data Export & Portability

You have the right to export your data at any time using the export features in Settings. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
